About Me

I’m a third-year Engineering Systems and Computing student at the University of Guelph. I’ve always been fascinated by space and loved the idea of building things that feel like they belong in the future. That interest in building, experimenting, and figuring out how things work made engineering a natural fit for me.

I spend a lot of my free time working on projects outside of school, usually involving some combination of mechanical design, electronics, and programming. I like being able to work on the whole system rather than just one part of it, whether that means designing and 3D printing a mechanism, wiring up electronics, or writing the code that makes everything work together.

Some of my recent projects include a custom autonomous drone, a 6-axis robotic arm, and several smaller electronics and mechanical projects. Each one has given me a chance to learn something new and usually leaves me thinking about what I want to build next.

I’m particularly interested in robotics, autonomous systems, drones, and embedded systems. I enjoy projects where the mechanical, electrical, and software sides all have to work together to get something working reliably.

Lately, I’ve also been getting more into astrophotography. I’m planning to build a custom camera mount and star tracker as a future project, combining my interest in space with mechanical design, electronics, and programming.
